David Larson completed his formal training
at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Hartford, Connecticut, and
later held positions as dance instructor, trainer, coach, and
choreographer with the F.A.D.S. of New England.

New Groove)

Fletcher Room- Burlington, VT

Activity: To be screened in Spanish with English subtitles,
this popular film is the sequel to “The Emperor’s
New Groove,” set in the Inca Empire. Snacks and a short
concert will precede the film. Enter your name for a chance to

Tango Lesson/Practica by Alicia Cruzado Dance Lesson is followed
by a Practica(Tango Dance evening)

Alicia Cruzado is a professional dancer.
She has served as dancer, assistant choreographer, choreographer,
and artistic director in shows such as Tango Passion, Tango Mundo,
Tango Tango, Tango the Show, Tango Night, and Tango Fusion which
was performed in North America (New York’s Carnegie Hall,
Alice Tully Hall, and Repertorio Español), Japan, Germany,
Greece, and Brazil. An opportunity

with dance fitness since 1997. In 2000 Deana began her career
as a fitness professional by teaching Jazzercise. Deana is AFAA
certified in group exercise, personal training, and she is fully
insured and CPR certified.

downtown Burlington
A vital part of Latino culture, is the meeting and visiting center
for Latin American villages. Come and enjoy the fiesta experience!
Authentic Latin Event!!! It will include Latin Bands, Children's
Activities, Demos, Latin Food, workshops and much more!

Alfonso Lopez y La Perfecta
This 12 piece Band Alfonso Lopez
Jr. & Orquesta La Perfecta is a Massachussetts born
salsa band who reunites all musicians for a night of great entertainment.
Music in the styles of Salsa, Merengue, Ballads, and Bachatas
are only a part of the ingredients that form the explosive sound
created by the band.
Since their debut in 1990, the band has played with many international
artists, such as El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Raphy Leavitt y
La Selecta, Olga Tanon, Los Sabrosos del Merengue, Grupomania,
Tonny Tuntun, Lalo Rodriguez, Tono Rosario, Tito Puente, Elvis
Crespo, Tito Rojas, Victor Manuelle, Zona Roja, and many others.

Caribbean Medical Transport is partnering with the Vermont Latino Festival
to help make the Latino Fest more than a great party!
Vermont based humanitarian organizations are working throughout the Caribbean
and Latin America. We want to celebrate the work we are doing to help our
friends and family throughout the region. We'll have food, mojitos, a Latin
art auction, display tables of the work that we are doing in the Latino world.
